Diva Missy here to give you hints
on how to find bargains for Baby.
Baby Clubs
First and foremost, make sure that
you sign up for every Baby Club that
you can. Most grocery stores and drug
stores have them. The idea is that
you earn points with every baby care
purchase. These points add up to freebies,
and in some cases, a rebate on your
grocery bill. You will also get on
some mailing lists by doing this,
so be prepared for a lot of baby
offers. If you can get past all the
mail, there are normally a lot of
great coupons and discounts to be
had.
Car
Seat
Second, check with your delivery hospital
to see if they offer first time moms
a free car seat. Not all hospitals
participate in this great program,
so make sure you check before the
big day arrives.
Baby's Room
Now, it is time to get the baby's
room ready. Take my advice on this…don't
go crazy decorating the room in a
theme set that you buy
at one of those big baby chain stores.
Chances are, if this is your first
baby, you will ignore this advice,
because you will get caught up in
the moment. But once reality sets
in, and you see how much it costs,
you will probably return the items
like I did. There are so many better
bargains at baby consignment stores,
Goodwill, and the Salvation Army,
that I would suggest starting there
first. You can normally find complete
crib sets, changing tables, cradles
and lots of baby clothes and blankets.
