Some Deals off of Uncle Sam
Government auctions are a great place to find a bargain. When
U.S. Customs confiscates some imported jewelry, or the Department
of Defense no longer needs a power tool, or the U.S Marshals
Service seizes a sports car from a drug dealer, all of these
items become available for purchase at Government auctions.
There are many auctions in the different branches of the Government.
If you are looking for a house, try the US Department of Housing
and Urban Development auctions. Or check out the NASA auctions
for computer equipment...Read

Dear Diva:
I share your love of resale, but unfortunately my husband and
son do not. After being spoiled by resale prices, I cannot bring
myself to pay $50 for a clothing item for them that I can get
resale for $5. How can I convert them to appreciate the benefits
of resale reality? Signed, Angele Trimble,
NC
Dear Angele:
First of all sister, you are not alone. We've been there. Here's
some solutions.
Have your unenlightened friends and neighbors save their retail
and dry cleaning bags for you. Every time you find a must
have item for your Dudes, slap it in a retail bag, or
hang it in a dry cleaning bag in the back of the closet. Trust
us, these DivaDistortions always work! If they don't notice
when you've highlighted your hair or lost 10 pounds, they are
not going to notice a minor discrepancy between the clothing
tag and the name on the store bag!.
Good luck and may the DivaForce be with you! -Diva
