In Conclusion...
We worked in the back of the store on a long table, and in one short hour, we created 9 resale gift baskets. Remember, we did this in an hour total so just think what you can do if you really shop around.

We left our basket creations in the capable hands of the store manager Debbie as she wanted to remove the price tags on the individual items and price each basket individually as a unit. She was also going to figure out the best way to display them.

Needless to say we were thrilled and felt we had accomplished our mission with success and ease. The neat thing about this “resale experiment” in addition to the fact that it worked is that it can be replicated by any resale store with varied merchandise like this AND it can be undertaken by individual resale shoppers as well.

Resale stores can increase sales by doing all the creative work so the shopper doesn’t have to try to figure it out on their own. Additionally, individual resale shoppers can become basket cases like the Divas and fashion their own from their favorite local resale shop or collect basket items from multiple stores.
