While the furniture buys were totally awesome and can be bought without spending an arm and a leg, I did not have room in my rental car so I settled for just an arm for $28 (see photo).

It appears to be a wooden arm and hand of a waiter and it came with a detached wooden plate on top of the hand which I removed to create this clever hand towel holder for my bathroom.

I must say, in addition to being a unique hand towel holder, I feel like quite the pampered diva to always have a towel handed to me at the exact moment I need one. Now, if I could only get it to also launder the hand towels and a few other things …
