Diva Missy here...If
you all have been following the Diva’s
bargain shopping strategies, then you
are probably in the same predicament
that I was in….no room for all
of my fabulous finds. So with the interest
rates at an all time low, my Discount
Dude and I set out to find a bigger
house.
After
looking at 31 houses, we finally found
one that would suit both of our needs.
The reason that it took us so long
to find the perfect house is because
my Discount Dude and I disagreed on
what was required in a house.
His requirements: a third garage for
his ATV and riding lawnmower, lots
of basement space for his deer hunting
essentials, and a maintenance free
exterior.
More importantly I wanted:
A Jacuzzi tub to soak in after my
shopping excursions
Lots of closet space to hide my purchases
An office where I can put my computer
and shop on line at any hour of the
day or night.
A room in the basement for my Diva
Do Overs
A big kitchen (not for cooking, of course, but
for all of my kitchen collectibles!)
After the 30th house, we found “The
One,” but there was no Jacuzzi
tub. My husband promised that he would
install one at a later date and as a
typical Diva, there is no way I will
let him forget that promise.
